Hành tây lột vỏ, cắt muối cau thật mỏng. Dưa leo rửa sạch, để ráo, bỏ ruột, cắt sợi bằng hành tây. Cà rốt bào vỏ, rửa sạch, cắt sợi bằng hành tây. Ướp dưa leo, cà rốt và hành tây với 2 muỗng cà phê đường. Cho vào ngăn mát tủ lạnh để rau củ được giòn.
Bông so đũa nhặt bỏ nhuỵ, rửa sạch, trụng qua nước sôi có pha 1/2 muỗng cà phê muối rồi vớt ra sả qua nước lạnh, để ráo.
Đun nóng 1/2 muỗng canh dầu ăn rồi hạ nhỏ lửa, cho tôm vào áp chảo, lật và phết đều hỗn hợp dầu hào lên 2 mặt của tôm.
Rau củ cắt sợi sau khi đã thấm đường, vắt ráo nước. Cho vào tô kèm với bông so đũa, thêm nước cốt 1 trái chanh, 4 muỗng cà phê tương ớt, dậu phộng rang giã dập, 1/2 muỗng cà phê đường và 1/4 muỗng cà phê muối. Trộn đều và để trong 5 phút cho rau thật thấm.
Rau sau khi thấm, gạt bớt nước dọn kèm với tôm. Dùng làm món khai vị rất ngon.
